Pet Spotlight shines on Nemo & Black Jack
Thanks for reading GwdToday - Everyday!

His 24/7 pink and white smile is outshone only by his nonstop full-body wag; 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix Nemo is 40 lbs. of playful adoration, a gorgeous, fun-sized athlete with golden freckles as warm as his disposition.

Nemo will "sit" for a treat, comes galloping when you call him, loves other dog friends (he's even patient with puppies), walks proudly on a leash, thinks cats are fine and enjoys a nice pull toy too. He needs nothing more than a family to bask in his abiding affection, some training to show what a fast learner he is, and a yard where he can show off his chiseled form and boundless energy. Nemo's neutered and ready to complete your life today, come claim his unfailing friendship.

Don't bother to conjure the handsomest long-haired Tuxedo cat imaginable, one with a splendid coat, statuesque form, big fluffy white paws, eyes the color of Luna moths, a silent meow and a soft, loving purr -- 5 year old Black Jack's here, all 13 gentle, intelligent lbs. of him. Black Jack was his owner's darling; he's civilized, social, attentive, and always ready with a warm head butt. He gets along fine with other pets, keeps himself groomed beautifully and tends a tidy box, too. We picture him as part of a loving family with older kids, or becoming a seriously stylish sidekick to the devoted single who recognizes a dream companion come true. Black Jack was neutered long ago, make him yours today and see how ravishing reality can be.

To see these and other adoptable pets visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle in Greenwood (behind Greenwood Civic Center) Monday through Saturday, 10a to 5p.  www.gwdhumanesociety.org

I adopted Black Jack on Wednesday 25 June. He is happy at my home with my two spirited Jack Russell's, Lucy and Comere. This cat is awesome! He is everything the article said he would be. Thank you Greenwood Humane Society for enabling me to add a new family member to my home!
