Cub Scouts from Pack 154 recently participated in Scouting for Food, an annual food collection program of the Boy Scouts of America.  Scouting for Food started in 1985 and involves local scouting units collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items from area residents to donate to food pantries in their communities.

The program is consistent with the values of scouting and their commitment to ‘do a
good turn daily’.

On Saturday February 9
th, 1st - 5th grade Cub Scouts from Pack 154, based at Westminster Presbyterian Church, collected 230 lbs of food that was donated to the Food Bank of Greenwood County.
