For those with questions about college, there will be no better place to be than at Greenwood Mall on Tuesday, Oct. 29, when representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities from across the state and elsewhere will be on hand for College Night.
Lander University’s Office of Admissions is organizing the event, which is sponsored by the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO).
From 6-8 p.m., attendees can meet with admissions personnel from the various public and private schools scheduled to attend, including: Lander University, Piedmont Technical College, Anderson University, Erskine College, Newberry College, Winthrop University, Presbyterian College, The Citadel, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for college-seekers and their families to learn more about the many educational options available in this state and region,” said Jennifer Mathis, Lander’s dean of Enrollment Management. “It’s a convenient way to visit with each of these colleges and universities without having to travel across the state.”
Financial aid representatives from three different institutions will also be available to provide information about the sources of financial aid available, as well as to offer advice on how and when to apply for it.
