Three teens were injured after the car in which they were travelling lost control and struck a power pole on S.C. 246 near the Fuji plant.
The accident occurred just before 9 p.m. The three teens were in a two-door Honda travelling east on S.C. 246. It appears the vehicle lost control several hundred feet before reaching the intersection with Puckett’s Ferry Road and struck the power pole on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
All three people in the vehicle were transported to Self Regional Medical Center by Greenwood County EMS for treatment of their injuries. The jaws of life were used to free two of the three people from the vehicle.
The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Coronaca Fire Department and Duke Energy also responded to the scene.
