Setzer served in various financial roles for private businesses from 1994 until coming to work for the county in 2008. Setzer graduated from the University of North Carolina – Asheville with a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1993.
The third finalist, Gina Humphreys, has worked in various capacities in Anderson County until June 2013. Most recently, Humphreys served as the assistant county administrator. Prior to working for Anderson County, Humphreys held several corporate financial positions as well as a two-year stint with Elliot Davis in Anderson.
