Thanks for reading GwdToday - Everyday!

She’s currently in the Adoption office, greeting the public with her own tranquil, tail-wagging aplomb -- a beautifully socialized 4-year-old lap dog.  She bears a striking resemblance to the Welsh Corgi breed made famous by British royalty (including her coloring and penchant for following you anywhere to give you a kiss.)

Pikachu’s a Camp Chinquapin graduate, a sturdy little lady who loves a leash, cavorts happily with kids and canines, and is calmly accepting of your adoration. She’s heartworm positive and will be readily available for treatment, since she plans to be by your side 24/7. Pikachu’s already spayed, make her your home’s crowning touch today.

He’s a pure young pleasure of a cat as rich, soft and relaxed as black cashmere, but with a purr that says he delights in your touch as much as you do in his. Gentle one-year-old Allister was found stray but his social habits are impeccable.  He’s a loving friend to his cage-mate, trusting, affectionate personality make him a perfect pick for a family with young ones.

Allister’s already fixed and ready to go home right now, see how exquisitely he drapes in your arms and your forever heart.

For more information about these and other available pets, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle (behind the Civic Center and Farmer's Market) Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., call (864) 942-8775, or email adoption@gwdhumanesociety.org.  Visit the Greenwood Humane Society online at www.gwdhumanesociety.org.
