Chamber to host its annual "State of the City and County" Luncheon

Davis & Floyd, Inc. will present the GreenwoodSC Chamber’s “State of the City and County” luncheon on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Piedmont Technical College, James Medford Family Event Center.  Registration will open at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program and luncheon starting at noon.

Speakers for this annual Legislative Series event will be Mayor Welborn Adams and City Manager Charlie Barrineau representing the city of Greenwood, with County Council Chairman Mark Allison and County Manager Toby Chappell representing the county. All four will address issues facing their respective municipalities, the status of current projects and future plans and challenges.

The session will also allow participants an opportunity to ask questions of all leaders. Gold sponsors include: Duke Energy Carolinas; Praise Unlimited Weddings; and Self Regional Healthcare. Silver sponsors are: Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital; The Index-Journal; The Links at Stoney Point and Bermuda’s; and Tinsley & Adams, LLP. Bronze sponsors are: McDonald Patrick Poston Hemphill & Roper; LLC, Old Main Catering; T.W. Boon’s; and Trinity Photography.
