Sheriff Dennis Kelly and the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office are holding the first of a series of twelve meetings, dubbed “Community Update”. These meetings are to address the concerns of the community and get feedback from citizens about activity in their particular area of the county.
These meetings are for the citizens of Greenwood County and will consist of topics such as scams, crime trends in your specific community, home preparedness, illegal narcotics, and many others.
“These meetings are designed specifically to aid the citizens in our communities,” said Sheriff Dennis Kelly. “They will learn a little about our office, meet some of the deputies and investigators assigned to their areas and learn helpful crime prevention tips.”
At each meeting citizens will be provided with valuable information about how to prevent and protect them from becoming victims of crimes.
At this time there is not a set schedule of times and places but each month GCSO will provide plenty of notice for each upcoming meeting and its location.
The first meeting of the series is as follows:
When: Monday, May 13th 2019 6:00PM
Where: 96 First Baptist Church
205 N. Church St. Ninety Six, SC
