Time Management & Productivity Topic of Business Over Breakfast Seminar

Being more efficient and organized at the workplace is a common objective for workers and employers.  The Greenwood SC Chamber is offering a business seminar on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 to further this objective.

A popular speaker at previous chamber-sponsored conferences, the seminar will be presented by Meredith Brown, CEO, of Rethink, Reframe, Relax, LLC.   She is also a psychology professor at Piedmont Technical College and is married with three daughters. As a stress reduction coach with unique life experiences, passion for people, and emotional strength, she uses motivating facts, humor, real stories, and open discussions to educate participants.

Some believe time management is a myth, but according to Brown, we need to manage ourselves and stay focused in order to manage our time.   Brown will challenge participant’s minds and behavior, so they can make the necessary changes to reduce stress and enjoy higher productivity and life satisfaction.  Brown is no stranger to stressful life events and wants you to learn to stop letting stress steal your joy, peace, and energy.

This seminar will focus on a method that will teach you to recognize when distractions, task switching, and stressors are getting in the way of productivity. Brown will also discuss ways you can track the effectiveness of your efforts.

The Business Over Breakfast seminar will be held at the Greenwood Country Club, located at 607 Cambridge Ave. West, Greenwood, SC 29646.  The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast followed by the program from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.  Tuition is $20 and includes workshop materials and breakfast.  An advance registration is requested.
