As a result of an ongoing investigation of three burglaries that occurred on November 1st within approximately a four mile radius of each other, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has arrested seventeen-year-old Maleta Marie Waters of 19 Symbolic Court, Greenville on November 14th. Waters was charged with three counts of burglary second degree and has been released from the Johnson Detention Center on a $75,000.00 bond.
On November 16th, eighteen-year-old Shake Javonte Curry of 431 Hammett Street, Greenville was also arrested and charged with three counts of burglary second degree and currently remains in the Johnson Detention Center on a $90,000.00 bond.
As the investigation continues deputies has charged two more subjects, twenty-one-year-old Marqual D. Griffin of 206 Symbolic Court, Greenville who was arrested November 19th and charged with three counts of burglary second degree. Griffin was transported to the Johnson Detention Center where he awaits a bond hearing.
Warrants have also been issued for three counts of burglary second degree on twenty-one-year-old Eli James Torrence also of 19 Symbolic Court Greenville. Torrence is currently being held in the Pickens County Detention Center on other charges.
