A Ware Shoals man is facing a multitude of charges after police say he pulled a gun on his sister following a dispute over a tax return.
Terrence Frazier, 23, is facing charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person in connection with a Feb. 24 incident that occurred in Ware Shoals.
According to a Ware Shoals Police Department report, police were dispatched to Ballentine Trailer Park just before 10 a.m. Feb. 24. When police arrived, the victim was visibly upset, crying and shaking. The victim told police that Frazier was her brother and had pointed a gun between her eyes before threatening to kill her.
According to the report, Frazier and his girlfriend came to the victim's residence concerning a dispute over a tax return. The victim turned away from Frazier and when she turned back around Frazier had a handgun pointed at her face. The victim told police that Frazier said he would kill her. The victim became scared and began calling 911 at which point Frazier and his girlfriend fled the residence. Police were unable to locate Frazier at the time, but were familiar with him due to an outstanding bench warrant. Frazier was located and arrested on Thursday.
Frazier was arrested in January by Ware Shoals police on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, simple possession of marijuana and unlawful use of telephone. He was arrested by Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office in July 2013 after being found with a pistol reported stolen out of Ware Shoals.
