Former Abbeville County Magistrate George Thomas Ferguson was in court in Lexington County Friday for a plea proceeding stemming from charges filed more than a year ago.
Ferguson pleaded guilty to two counts of misconduct in office. He was sentenced on the first count to one year in prison, suspended to 90 days in jail, 400 hours of community service and five years of probation. On the second count, Ferguson was sentenced to one year in prison, suspended to five years of probation. Ferguson will be allowed to serve the jail time on weekends, but must remain on house arrest until the jail sentence is completed.
Ferguson was indicted in April 2013 by a state grand jury on the two counts of misconduct in office. Ferguson gave two women money and favorable outcomes in matters before his court in exchange for sex with the two women.

That dirty dog got exactly what he deserves. Now he will get a taste of his own medicine. I hope he spend time with some of the people he sentenced and they beat the hell out of him for all the lowdown stuff he pulled and got away with. Mother...... must have thought he was above the law. I should would love to see him walking around with his ankle monitor on. Just knowing it makes my day. Ha, Ha, Ha. How the hell it feel to be on the opposite side now you piece of crap? I am writing this hoping he will read this.
