Nell B. Stewart, 77, of 102 End Street, widow of Samuel E. Stewart, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Hospice House.
Born in Decatur, AL, she was a daughter of the late Elbert Harris Baldwin and Ella Mae Jinx Baldwin. Nell was the owner of S & S Fabrics and loved playing Bingo. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Sheila Hasting, Sharon Turner and her husband, Fred, and Pam Boswell and her husband, Dennis, all of Ninety Six; two sons, Sam Stewart, Jr. and his wife, Kitty, of Ninety Six and Danny Wayne Stewart and his wife, Lynn, of Belton; two sisters, Betty Jean Stringer and Martha Faye Loosier, both of Priceville, AL; a brother, Elbert Harris Baldwin, Jr. of Priceville, AL; and nineteen grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Webb officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Lewis Turner, Chris Turner, Marion Turner, Justin Boswell, Jody Stewart, Jeremy Holcombe, Josh Holcombe and Tyler Hasting.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
