Mrs. Rose Marie Jordan Taylor, 64

Mrs. Rose Marie Jordan Taylor, 64, of 924 Barr Woods Road, widow of Hugh Albert Taylor passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her home.

  Born in McCormick on August 27, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Charles Raymond Jordan and Mary Price Jordan. Marie was a client of the Burton Center and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

  Surviving are two brothers, Teddy (Connie) Jordan of Ninety Six and Larry Gene Price of Hodges; a sister, Linda Jordan (Al) White of Greenwood; a step-sister, Connie Timmerman Jordan; a step-brother, Robert (Caridad) Timmerman; eight nieces and nephews; and a number of great nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Patricia Jordan Williams.

  Services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Babb officiating.  A private family burial will be held following the service.

  Pallbearers will be Alf White, Christopher Jordan, Richard Craig, Mike Dorn, Roy Finley and Robert Timmerman.

  Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Anderson, Joe Butch White, Bert Wetzel, the staff and clients of the Burton Center and the members of Providence Baptist Church.

  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 pm.

  Marie loved flowers, but if you prefer to send a memorial, donations may be sent to the Burton Center, 2605 Highway 72-221 E, Greenwood, SC 29649 or to Providence Baptist Church, PO Box 6, Hodges, SC 29653.

  The family would like to thank all the staff at L & B Assistant Living Center for the love and care they showed Marie.

  The family is at the home of her sister, Linda White, 105 Nottingham Lane, Greenwood,  SC.
