Cynthia Ann Balchin O’Shields, 65, of Greenville, formerly a longtime Greenwood resident died May 10, 2013 at St. Frances Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Greenwood, July 14, 1947, she was a daughter of Annie Clair Harling Balchin and the late George Milton Balchin.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Hendersonville, NC are two daughters, Tracy Everett and husband Brian of Charlotte, NC and Abigail Mauldin of Greenville; six grandchildren; a sister, Clair Harmon and husband Michael of Greenville; and a brother, Mickey Balchin and wife Pam of Greenwood.
Private cryptside funeral services were conducted Monday from the Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with Reverend Calvin Holland officiating. Entombment followed in the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum.
