Eva Leopard DeLoach, 98, former resident of the Ninety Six Highway, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at NHC of Greenwood.
Born in Saluda County, May 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Farah Bell Williams Leopard. She was retired from Greenwood Mills Sloan Plant and was a member of the Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club.
Ms. DeLoach was a long time active member of New Market Baptist Church and was a member of the Helping Hands Sunday School Class.
She was the last member of her immediate family being survived only by nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 4 PM Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Stanley Sprouse officiating.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 to 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials made to New Market Baptist Church, 906 Ninety Six Highway, Greenwood, S.C. 29646.
