Charles F. “Charlie” Uldrick, 81, resident of 132 Edinborough Circle, husband of Sue Brawner Uldrick, died December 18, 2013 at Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville County, July 28, 1932, he was a son of the late Julian F. and Ida Ruby Edwards Uldrick. He was a graduate of Abbeville High School and a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Charlie retired from Milliken Textiles, Abbeville plant after 42 ½ years of service.
Formerly of Abbeville, Charlie and Sue have made their home in Greenwood since 2001 and are members of Greenwood Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a brother, Don and wife Evelyn Uldrick of Ware Shoals and a sister, Dot Uldrick McDonald of Greenwood. Host of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Uldrick Cannon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Friday at Greenwood Presbyterian Church with Pastor Archie Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 1PM Friday.
The family will receive friends in the church social hall from 1 to 2 Friday afternoon.
