Josephine Creswell Ridlehoover, 82, resident of 7016 Callison Road, wife of Glenn S. Ridlehoover, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Hospice House in Greenwood.
Born in Greenwood County, July 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Bryson and Sallie Leo Wilson Creswell. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and retired from Park Seed Company after many years of service.
Mrs. Ridlehoover was a life- long active member of Cedar Springs Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are four daughters, Glenda (Virgil) Brantley of Townville, Margaret (Jim) Winn of Columbia and Due West, Patsy (Ronald) Lowery of Six Mile and Susan (Ricky) Deal of Troy; two brothers, Harold (Helen) Creswell and Craig (Ruby) Creswell, all of Bradley; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Friday at Cedar Springs ARP Church with Dr. Loyd Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wilson Creswell, Stephen Creswell, Hal Creswell, Jr., Jonathan Creswell, Joe Ridlehoover, Steve Ridlehoover, Frank Ridlehoover, Marshall Ridlehoover, John Ridlehoover, Larry Ridlehoover and Richard Ridlehoover.
The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 10AM Friday.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 Thursday evening.
