Rosezann Clamp “Ya Ya” Simpfenderfer, 65, of 209 Anchor Road, Lake Greenwood, loving wife of Clarence Harold “Simp” Simpfenderfer for 46 years, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Walter Fulton and Mattie Veal Clamp of Ware Shoals. A retired cosmetologist, she spent her life devoted to her family. As a former breeder of Chinese Pugs, Rose traveled and showed her champion Pugs all over the Southeast. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband of the home; her daughter, Amy Simpfenderfer Carter and her husband, Edward, and two grandchildren, Alex and Amber Carter, all of Greenwood; a sister, Phoebe Clamp Elliott of Mt. Pleasant and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Lee Clamp.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Webb and the Rev. Marc Vickers officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.
