Four Lander University Scholars represented Lander University at the Alpha Chi National Collegiate Honors Society Conference in Nashville Tenn. held March 4- 6, 2013.  Alpha Chi is a national coeducational academic honor society.

Since 1922 its purpose has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction.Membership is limited to the top 10 percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico that have a chapter of Alpha Chi.

Alpha Chi is distinctive in that it involves members in all aspects of its operation: chapter officer leadership, student representation on the National Council, local chapter event planning, and presenting scholarly programs at regional and national conventions.
