Thanks for reading GwdToday - Everyday!

Just over a week away and the Great Craft Beer Festival stop in Anderson, SC on March 22nd just got even better!  The Growler Haus has agreed to be the pre-party and VIP area sponsor.

Craig Kinley, owner of the Growler Haus, says Anderson is primed and ready for this type of event.

“The Great American Craft Beer Tour will showcase the new park and the growing number of regional craft beer breweries, like RJ Rockers, Quest, and Thomas Creek.  It will further raise the level of craft beer excellence in the up state area.”

Also added to the bill is the Home Brew competition.  Fifteen backyard brewmasters will pit their best beer against each other for a chance to be a “featured beer” at the Growler Haus!  The public will decide who has the “hops” to make it to the tap.

The list of breweries featured keeps growing and now includes Lazy Magnolia and Red Hair, as well as national favorites like Boston Beer Company, Abita and Terrapin.  Over 100 different beers will be available for sampling.  IPA’s, stouts, special releases and more will be on tap.

Tickets for the March 22nd festival are on sale.  Purchase tickets today by visiting www.craftbeertix.com  Home brew clubs and other groups may qualify for a group discount.  Contact us for more information.

A portion of the proceeds from each event will be donated to Shriners Hospitals for Children, as well as local charities.
