GREENWOOD, SC – One very lucky lady received an early Christmas present courtesy of the Greenwood Army-Navy Store on Friday. Tracy Ferguson’s name was drawn at the store on Friday, making her the winner of a brand new 37-inch high definition television.

When Steve Riley, co-owner of the store, called Ferguson, her first response was, “Are you serious?” Yes, Mrs. Ferguson, he was serious.

“I never win anything,” Ferguson said. “I told my husband that I was going to put my name in anyway. This TV is going in our bedroom.”

Ferguson visited the Army-Navy Store looking for pants for her husband, who works with Abbeville County EMS. She and her two daughters, Emily, 11, and Rebecca, 5, went by the store to pick up their prize.

“I was really surprised that I won,” Ferguson said. “The girls were more excited than we were.”
