William Pressley Latham, 64, resident of Bennettsville, former resident of Greenwood, died January 23, 2013 at McLeod Hospice in Florence.
Born March 21, 1948, in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Pressley Hill and Louise Graham Latham. He was a 1968 graduate of Greenwood High School and was the former owner of Marlboro Cablevision and Ware Shoals and McCormick Cablevision. He was also the former owner of Fender and Latham.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Latham of Atlanta; a step-son, Kevin McGuirt of Conway; two sisters, Martha L. and husband Donnie Moore and Faye White Rosselle, all of Greenwood; two step grandchildren, Will Hardee McGuirt and Marleigh McGuirt; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Josh William Latham and a sister, Cornelia Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Staples officiating. Burial will be in Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville.
Pallbearers will be Blake White, Sean White, Douglas White, Todd Moore, Ray Manley and Kevin McGuirt.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the home of Sean White, 253 Dungannon Drive, Abbeville, immediately following the committal service in Abbeville.
