Thomas I. "T" Harrison, 74

Thomas I. “T” Harrison, 74, husband of Linda Goldman Harrison, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Hospice House.

  Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Horace Clifton and Roberta Hinton Harrison.  He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant and was a member of Harris Baptist Church and the Master Disciple Sunday School Class.

  T loved playing golf and was a member of Rolling S Golf Club for many years and was formerly employed there and at Cedar Springs Golf Club.

  Surviving is his wife of 54 years; two sons, Michael I. Harrison (Rita) of Greenwood and Terry W. Harrison (Gina) of Ninety Six; a daughter, Lisa Harrison Turner (Richard) of Geneva, IL; a brother, Preston Harrison (Sandra) of Chapin; and five granddaughters, Maggie Harrison, Leslie Harrison, Anna Harrison, Mallory Harrison and Grayson Ferrell.

  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating.

  Honorary escort will be T’s friends and golfing buddies.

  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.

  Memorials may be made to the Harris Baptist Church building fund, 300 Center Street, Greenwood, SC 29649 or to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
