HospiceCare of the Piedmont to host 2013 Grief Series

HospiceCare of the Piedmont is hosting four educational workshops for people who have experienced a significant loss in their lives or for those who wish to learn more about the grief process.  The workshops will offer an in-depth look at how loss and grief affect us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. 

The workshop series will be held on Tuesdays, beginning April 2, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Hospice Administrative building.  There is no charge to attend. Please call 227-9393 in order to register for the workshop(s) you wish to attend.

April 2, 2013  “Understanding Grief - What to Expect”

Presenter:  Elizabeth Darrah, LBSW, MSW; Social Worker

April 9, 2013  “Spirituality and Grief”

Presenter: Rev. Deloris G. Rapp; Hospice Chaplain

April 16, 2013   “Legal Matters for the Bereaved”

Presenter:  Curtis Clark, Attorney

April 23, 2013   “Living with Grief – Hope for the Bereaved”

Presented:  Rynda McCurry, LMSW; Social Worker

Hospice is one of the best organizations I've ever seen. My mother spent her last days there and this place took exceptional care of her. Everyone there went out of their way to help ease the pain for her and the entire family. We appreciate everything they did for us!
